About Us
The Clayrooms is a pottery studio and shop in the centre of Ashbourne run by co-founders Sarah Heaton and Helen Cammiss. The business was launched in 2016 and offers workshops, courses and memberships in a professionally equipped studio where everyone, regardless of ability or experience, is warmly welcomed.
The Clayrooms also offers corporate events, children’s parties and large off site events along with seasonally appropriate ‘drop ins’.
Their town centre premises includes a retail space selling The Clayrooms crockery range, and coffee bar which adds to the friendly feel.
The Opportunity
This opportunity is for anyone that has a creative flair and a passion for pottery. We’re not looking for the next Keith Brymer Jones as we can teach you what you need to succeed within your business, we just need you to be good with people and keen to get them being creative, regardless of their ability!
We’re sure you’ll have lots of transferable skills from your previous roles that will make you a hit as a Clayrooms Franchisee.
You might be a trained teacher, tutor or educator, who is looking for a secondary income stream, or someone who wants to make that step to being your own boss. Once you have met with us and together we decide that the franchise opportunity would be the best way forward, you will need to sign our Non Disclosure Agreement and we will send you the tools to create a Business Plan.
